Getting engaged with OITC is simple and requires very little effort on the sponsor’s end. With such a small investment by your company, you can gain valuable reach and engagement from new IT leaders.
Speak
Sponsors are encouraged to speak at their sponsored event. No selling but instead spark a discussion about a new and emerging technology, industry trend, or industry insight.
Content Share
Provide OITC with two articles, posts, images, or branded items that we can share with the OITC Linkedin group page. Our audience responds well to valuable content.
Engagement
The sponsor’s company info and name will be communicated to the OITC member base through the invitation process as well as on the OITC website.
Frequently Asked Questions
Sponsors are asked to cover the cost of beverages at the event. Some sponsors like to provide apps or hors d’oeuvres, but it is not required. The average cost of the bar bill is $300-$400 (about $10/guest)
We ask sponsors to select the location to host the event. The sponsor should also contact the location and confirm that they are ok with us hosting our event there. After that, just communicate the location to the OITC team and that’s it!
We try to have our events all around Omaha but we see the highest attendance with events in midtown to West Omaha. Bars, breweries, wine bars, bars and grills, any location goes!
On average, we have 40-50 people at each event.
Yes, we do require that vendors sponsor at least one event per year.
No! As an end-user you can attend every OITC event at no charge with no requirements of sponsorship.

- Keep your presentation short and valuable!
- Engage the audience/attendees during your presentation.
- No PowerPoints – as much as everyone loves PowerPoints, we have found speaking opportunities have been more successful without them.
